Jessica Agricola

Jess is an avid dog lover, outdoors woman and gym enthusiast who recently moved to Davidson, North Carolina with her husband Luke. Prior to Davidson, Jess spent the first half of life in Arizona and the second half in Ohio. While pursuing a degree in English from Ohio State, Jess was exposed to the field of outdoor education. After graduating with a BS in English it was the outdoor education that tugged at her heart that she ultimately pursued. She has lived outdoors and off-the-grid for periods of more than a year working as an instructor with the North Carolina Outward Bound School. Later she became program manager of the small non-profit organization “Walk with a Doc*.”

Jess finds joy in helping other people stay active and healthy as part of their everyday lifestyle. She is an ACE certified personal trainer who focuses on strength, mobility, cardiovascular endurance and diet. She believes those four components are the superfecta that lead to whole-body wellness. Jess knows that a healthy lifestyle, beginning from wherever the client may be is key to emotional and mental wellbeing. Her focus starts with the client’s current wellness-level before helping them look forward to the goals of where they want to be.

She is there to help others keep themselves from avoidable injury, work through current and past injuries and get through periods of lacking motivation. What ever is keeping you from the level of fitness you want to achieve, she’ll be there to help. She wants you to do the things you love to do and feel great while doing them. Her goal is to embody and help clients embody their best selves everyday, inside and out.

*Walk-with-a-Doc organizes group walks between community members and healthcare professionals across the country. It allows community members to get questions answered, free health education and time spent with neighbors outdoors. Jess is part of the group in Davidson. Check it out!
